Who we are
Champion Auto Finance (“Champion,” “we,” “us”) is a New Jersey–based financing partner licensed with the New Jersey Department of Banking and Insurance. We coordinate lease end buyouts between customers, dealer partners, and qualified lenders. Champion Auto Finance is not a lender. This policy explains what information we collect through championfinancegroup.com and in the course of arranging financing, how we use it, and the choices you have.
Information we collect
Information you provide. When you submit a form, call, or email us, we collect what you share — typically your name, email address, phone number, and details about your vehicle, lease, or financing goal.
Application information. If you move forward with a financing request, we collect the information needed to structure and process the deal — such as vehicle and payoff details, employment and income information, and credit-related information — either directly from you or through the dealer handling your deal.
Automatic information. Like most websites, our hosting provider records basic technical data such as IP address, browser type, and pages visited, and may set performance cookies.
Analytics. We use Google Analytics to understand how visitors use this site, such as which pages are read, whether a quote request was sent and whether a phone number or map link was tapped. Google Analytics sets cookies and receives your IP address and basic browser and device details. This site does not use the Meta Pixel, Google Ads tracking, or any other advertising pixel, and our credit application uses no analytics or advertising trackers at all. We never send the contents of your form, such as your name, phone, email or vehicle details, to Google. If you arrive by clicking an online ad, we keep that ad’s click identifier with your inquiry so we know which ad brought you. You can limit this tracking by blocking or clearing cookies in your browser.
Text-message consent. Our forms include two optional checkboxes, one for marketing text messages and one for non-marketing text messages. If you check either box, we record which boxes you checked, when, the page you were on and your IP address, so that we have a record of your consent.
How we use your information

- To structure your deal and match it with qualified lenders
- To coordinate with the dealer involved in your purchase or buyout
- To meet licensing, record-keeping, and other legal obligations
- To operate and improve our website and services
Who we share it with
We share personal information only as needed to arrange your financing: with qualified lenders and financial institutions that underwrite your request, with the dealer partner involved in your deal, and with service providers that host our website and systems. We may also disclose information when required by law or regulation. We do not sell your personal information.
Mobile information and text messaging. No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. All of the sharing described above excludes text-messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information will not be shared with, sold to or otherwise provided to any third party.
How long we keep it
We retain deal records for as long as needed to service your request and to satisfy the record-keeping requirements that apply to licensed financing businesses in New Jersey, and then dispose of them securely.
How we protect it
We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards to protect personal information. No website or transmission method is completely secure, so please share sensitive details through our forms or by phone rather than regular email where possible.
Your choices and rights
You may contact us at any time to review, correct, or request deletion of the personal information we hold about you, subject to records we are required to keep. You can also ask us to stop sending marketing communications.
Text messages. If you opted in to text messages, reply STOP to any message to opt out at any time, or reply HELP for help. Message frequency varies, and message and data rates may apply. Full details are in our Terms of Service.
Children
Our services are for adults. The site is not directed to anyone under 18, and we do not knowingly collect information from children.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The current version will always be posted on this page with its effective date.
